Parliamentary Papers

This collection provides access to all of the parliamentary papers and reports presented to (tabled in) the Parliament of Victoria from 1851 to the present.

The collection is fully searchable and you can download PDFs of all the documents.

Parliamentary papers are just some of the documents tabled in Parliament. They include the reports of:
  • parliamentary committees
  • Auditor-General
  • Ombudsman
  • royal commissions.

Today, if a document may need legal protection or its author has a special relationship with Parliament, the Parliament can decide to make it a parliamentary paper. In the past a wider variety of documents were parliamentary papers.

Not all documents tabled in Parliament are parliamentary papers. You can find more documents in the Tabled Documents database. That database includes documents tabled since 2012.
